The Opening Ceremony of the HKUST Alumni Commons & A Feast of Togetherness - Poon Choi Party

In recognition of the remarkable milestone of surpassing 100,000 alumni, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is delighted to introduce the Alumni Commons at our Clear Water Bay campus, which will be a hub for connection and collaboration, as well as a landmark honoring the contributions that empower future generations.   We are thrilled to announce that the Opening Ceremony of the HKUST Alumni Commons is scheduled for December 6, 2025 (Saturday), followed by our exciting A Feast of Togetherness – Poon Choi Party jointly organized with the HKUST Alumni Association and the HKUST Convocation! This special event will not only celebrate the establishment of the Alumni Commons but will also bring together alumni, students, and university members in a spirit of unity. Together, we will raise funds for the Alumni Endowment Fund (AEF), which is dedicated to enriching our students’ learning experiences.   Here are the details of the Opening Ceremony and the Poon Choi Party:Date: December 6, 2025 (Saturday) Venue: The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Clear Water Bay, Kowloon Event: Opening Ceremony of the HKUST Alumni Commons 4:30 PM Reception | 5:00 PM CeremonyTsang Shiu Tim Art Hall and Alumni Commons (All alumni are welcome to attend. Please register in advance to facilitate our event management.)   A Feast of Togetherness – Poon Choi Party6:00 PM | S. H. Ho Sports Hall (Seats are limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. Please complete your registration by donating to the AEF before November 12 (Wednesday).
