Terence, TSANG Kin Ho, and his elder brother, Terry, made the bold decision in 2008 to leave their stable jobs and establish their own business. Their venture initially focused on creating online greeting cards, they switched to Facebook apps and then mobile gaming. In 2013, their company, Madhead, reached the greatest triumph with the launch of "Tower of Saviors神魔之塔," a mobile game that has been downloaded over 23 million times worldwide.
Despite the brothers' professional achievements, they remain committed to giving back to society. They have made significant contributions to their alma mater, HKUST, donating over HK$20 million to fund various projects and initiatives aimed at improving the university's educational and research capabilities. They have also established a student emergency fund to support students facing financial difficulties due to unexpected events such as natural disasters or medical emergencies. As a token of appreciation, the university's business school atrium and computational laboratory barn A were named after the brothers.
In addition, the brothers have also been actively supporting entrepreneurship-related programs at the University, such as providing summer intern opportunities to students, sponsoring various university’s events and sharing their valuable start-up experience in seminars and panels for the alumni community.
