

Kelvin is an Associate Professor of Environmental Systems Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of Regina in Canada. His main research interests are in geo-environmental engineering, particularly in solid waste management and disposal facility design. With the ultimate goal of acquiring knowledge that has valuable impact on geo-environmental practice and regulatory policies, his research focuses on the development and remediation of the geotechnical components of waste containment structures, as well as the examination of their underlying mechanisms.
His exceptional accomplishments have earned him awards in both teaching and research such as the Grand Prize in the 2010 Hong Kong Institution of Engineers Innovation Awards for Young Members (Category I – An Invention). In Regina, he has made regular appearances on local media to promote sustainable waste management. Kelvin is also a Professional Engineer with Permission to Consult in Saskatchewan, Canada.
