2. How to apply for library and sports cards?

Check Your Subscription Status:

  1. Log in to the Alumni App.
  2. Click "Library" or "Sports" on the homepage.

 

Apply or Renew:

  • Alumni App: Apply or renew your library and sports cards directly through the App.
  • Online Payment: Pay the annual fee of HK$50 for the reader's card and HK$100 for the borrower's card. HKUST Alumni Association Full Members receive a complimentary first-year borrower card subscription.
  • Application for or renewal of sports cards is free of charge. Please apply online via the Alumni App on a yearly basis.

 

Access Your eCard:
Once your application is approved, your card(s) will be displayed after clicking the "eCard" button on the homepage immediately.

3. How can I check which campus services I have subscribed to?

  • Alumni App: Log in and navigate to "Library" or "Sports" on the homepage to view your subscription details including expiry date.

  • eCard Section: Access your subscription information by clicking the "eCard" button on the homepage.

     

Important Note:
Physical Cards: If you have a valid physical Reader's Card or Borrower's Card, it will become invalid once you log in to the Alumni App.

4. I am a former exchange student. Am I eligible to apply for an eCard?

Currently, the eCard is exclusively offered to HKUST degree graduates whose graduation status has been officially confirmed by the Academic Registry Office. Non-degree graduates including those of Short Executive Education Course/Graduate Diploma/Professional Diploma, former exchange students and visiting scholars are not eligible for lifelong alumni email accounts and eCard services. 


However, we welcome you to join some of our overseas gatherings. Stay updated on upcoming events through our Facebook, Instagram, WeChat and website.
