Hiu Fung is one of the founders of VolTra, an NGO established in 2009 which promotes international voluntary services (IVS) in Hong Kong through a global network of international workcamp organizations. Today, VolTra partners with organizations worldwide to provide over 5,000 international workcamps and voluntary service projects in more than 100 countries each year. It also organizes international workcamps in Hong Kong for local and overseas volunteers.

Hiu Fung's services do not end here: he also co-founded DreamWalker China in 2014, a volunteer-driven NGO that develops and promotes IVS in the Chinese mainland. He is now working in the Office of Service-Learning and for the Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative in the Lingnan University.
