Guangzhou Alumni Chapter Annual Gathering

On September 5, alumni from across the country gathered in Nansha to celebrate HKUST's 35th anniversary at the Guangzhou Alumni Chapter Annual Gathering. HKUST President Prof. Nancy IP, HKUST (GZ) President Prof. Lionel NI, and HKUST Vice-President for Institutional Advancement Prof. Charles NG attended, along with other University leaders and guests.
In the morning, alumni visited HKUST (GZ) and the Innovation and Technology Transfer Base, followed by a tour of the "HKUST's 30 Years in Guangzhou" photo exhibition and an innovation sharing session.
At the high-table dinner in the evening, University leaders and alumni jointly cut a 35th anniversary birthday cake and wished their alma mater a happy birthday.
