Teresa is passionate about her profession: “Surely, the accountant’s role in the business world is not as glamorous as that of the entrepreneurs or the CEOs. However, accounting knowledge provides the tools for us to understand the dynamics of the companies and economies, including both successful and not so successful ones,” she shared. “At times, I would call the accounting profession the builders and the enablers behind many lasting enterprises. We provide insights for business strategies and ensure that the finance function is well-established – which is quintessential for any enterprises that aspire to be long lasting.”
