A proud alumnus of the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA (KH EMBA) Class of 2008, Michael Yong-Haron is passionate about giving back to HKUST, where he is serving as a member of the Court, the Institutional Advancement Outreach Committee, and the Foundation Board.  

Michael had a transformative experience at KH EMBA that now fuels his drive to help future leaders access the same life-changing opportunities.  

With extensive experience in private banking and wealth management, Michael has driven growth at leading international banks in North Asia. Now the founder of APInvest Partners, he empowers emerging asset owners and founders with innovative financial solutions, helping them achieve their legacy.  

Michael chose KH EMBA for its world-class reputation, vibrant Hong Kong location, and a schedule that fit his career. "天時地利人和," he says—timing, place, and people all aligned perfectly. Now, Michael is spearheading the Global Nexus Leaders Award—the first alumni-led award for KH EMBA. This initiative aims to attract visionary international candidates, foster cross-cultural collaboration, and welcome exceptional students into the Kellogg-HKUST family.
