Alumni Network in New York made a powerful return to the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York this August 8-9, marking their third consecutive year of participation. Their dedication and teamwork culminated in a significant achievement: securing first runner-up in the Educational Invitation Division.

This year's participation held special significance, celebrating HKUST’s 35th Anniversary and the establishment of the School of Medicine, the third of its kind in Hong Kong.

Comprising energetic alumni and bold paddlers from diverse backgrounds, the team embodies HKUST’s core values of innovation, inclusiveness, collaboration, and mutual respect. Their success on the water was a testament to the trust, resilience, and collective strength they brought together towards a shared goal.
