London came alive with HKUST spirit as alumni gathered for the 35th Anniversary Alumni Get-together on July 11. This special afternoon brought together alumni from across the UK and beyond, along with the HKUST delegation led by President Prof. Nancy Ip. Joining her were members of the senior administration including Vice-President for Institutional Advancement Prof. Charles Ng and Dean of the School of Medicine Prof. King Li.
More than a reunion, the event offered a cherished opportunity to reconnect with old friends, share fond memories of university days, and gain inspiring insights into HKUST’s latest developments — particularly the fabulous 35th Anniversary celebratory events and the exciting launch of the new School of Medicine. Lively conversations filled the room as alumni exchanged stories, explored collaboration possibilities, and celebrated the University’s remarkable growth over 35 years.
The event also featured the 35th Anniversary Wishes Activity, which allowed alumni and guests to pen their heartfelt wishes for HKUST’s future, adding a touching and forward-looking element to the celebration.
