This summer, we are absolutely thrilled to invite you, your family and friends to HKUST's inaugural two-day, one-night Pioneers Summer Camp—a fantastic blend of learning, fun, and reconnection as we celebrate the University’s 35th Anniversary!

A vibrant lineup of activities—from inspiring talks to fun activities, and hands on STEAM & AI workshops—has been designed to cater to different age groups. 

 

Registration Fee: HK$500 per participant (aged 6 and above). All registration fees will be fully donated to the HKUST Alumni Endowment Fund to support university development. Children aged 11 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the summer camp.

FAQs

Is there a cost to attend the summer camp?

A donation of HKD 500 per participant (ages 6 and above) is required to support the HKUST Alumni Endowment Fund and secures your spot. 


Participants can choose to stay overnight on campus for an additional cost. Please refer here for details.
 

Are the donations and accommodation fees refundable?

The donations for camp registration and accommodation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. In cases of severe weather disruptions, please refer to the information provided here.

Can children aged 11 and below attend the camp without an adult?

No. Participants aged 11 years and below must be accompanied by at least one adult throughout the summer camp.

Do I need to stay overnight on campus?

No, an overnight stay is optional. Participants may choose to stay at the Jockey Club i-Village student hall or the Conference Lodge. Please note that only shared bathroom facilities are available at the Jockey Club i-Village. 

Can I drive to HKUST campus, and is parking available?

Yes. You may drive to campus, and parking will be available for camp participants during the day and overnight. The parking arrangements will be announced closer to the event.
