AEF社區服務獎旨在表揚那些體現領導精神、熱忱和同情心，並且致力於創造可持續社區項目、推動積極變革的優秀學生。 每年，六名優秀的全日制本科生和研究生可獲得港幣 5,000 元現金獎，以支持他們繼續投入社區服務。
有興趣的學生可透過學務長辦公室提交申請。入圍的候選人將獲邀與遴選小組會面，小組成員包括學務長、學務長辦公室、教職員、學生及校友代表。
