A well-known name in the financial sector, Ivan currently holds the position of Head, HK Warrants & Callable Bull & Bear Cert Sales at Credit Suisse. He is a leading commentator on warrants/callable bull bear contracts and has been a frequent speaker on TV and radio programs.

In his third year of high school Ivan became fascinated by financial investment and began joining investment competitions at university. After graduation, he chose to begin his career by familiarizing himself with the operation of the Hong Kong Exchange as a securities dealing officer. From this experience, he gained a wealth of expertise and social connections that quickly elevated him to the echelons of senior management in the investment banking sector.

Ivan is currently also a mentor to students in the HKUST School of Science. His advice to students and young alumni is that "in terms of long term career planning, identifying your own career goal is the key to success. You will be rewarded when you have developed your own competitive edge."
