After graduating, Chris partnered with several HKUST alumni and a friend to form 6waves, a leading publisher of independent games on social networks and mobile platforms. In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Chris leads innovative development projects and manages the internal systems for the company's publishing operations. Before founding 6waves, Chris had been working at Yahoo for several years.

6waves originated on Facebook and has since expanded into Yahoo! Mobage, Mixi and Hangame in Japan, Tencent in China, iOS and Android. It has a presence in Hong Kong, Moscow, Beijing, Taiwan and Tokyo, and partners with developers worldwide to bring games to millions of users on its gaming network. Its investors include Insight Venture Partners and Nexon Co. Ltd. On top of its list of games are Farm Up Social, Wonderland Epic, Castle and many others.
