In accordance with the University’s vaccination and regular testing requirements, the following arrangement for alumni to enter the campus will be effective from September 1, 2021 (Wednesday).
With the present restricted campus access policy, non-HKUST members including alumni accompanying guests are temporarily not permitted to visit HKUST campus.
There will be TWO groups of Alumni Visitors:
Occasional alumni visitors (who visit for one day only or for two consecutive days)
If you visit campus for one day only or for two consecutive days, please prepare your activated Alum eCard. To enter campus, security will scan your Alum eCard on the Alumni App at the campus entrances.
Only alumni who visit campus for more than 2 consecutive days will be required to be vaccinated/tested
Frequent alumni visitors (who visit for more than two consecutive days)
If you visit the campus for more than two consecutive days, you are required to either be vaccinated or tested every two weeks.
You will be required to show the Campus Access Pass (CAP). for visiting campus. Screenshots of the CAP will not be accepted
If you have received two doses: The CAP will be valid until December 31, 2021.
If you have received one dose only: The CAP will be valid 30 days from the vaccination date.
If you fail to complete the second dose within 30 days and would like to enter the campus, please submit this form to Development and Alumni Office and apply for another CAP stating that you have underwent testing.
After you have taken the second dose, please submit again for applying a new CAP.
If you have not been vaccinated, you will need to have a negative test result and submit this form to get a CAP. Your visit date(s) must be within 14 days of the date of your test result. If you would like to visit the campus for more than two consecutive days again after the CAP has expired, you will have to submit this form three working days in advance again.
PCR COVID-19 tests, by deep throat saliva samples or nasal swab samples (offered by the Government or private labs) and all COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits bought from reputable sources are also acceptable.
Depending on the pandemic situation, arrangements after December 31, 2021 will be reviewed and announced by the end of the year.

Under the University’s current temporary restricted access policies, we apologize that only HKUST members with valid identification will be permitted entry into campus. Guests of alumni are not allowed to enter the campus.
