Useful Advice for New Graduates
Once you graduate from a HKUST degree program and your graduation status is officially confirmed by the Academic Records & Registration Office (ARRO), you automatically become a member of our alumni body. No membership is required!
However, some of the alumni associations/groups that have been voluntarily established by alumni and which are independent from HKUST, do charge membership fees.
There is no HKUST Alumni Card issued by HKUST. However, some alumni privileges and campus facilities require your alumni email account, HKUST-BOC Alumni Credit Card, or HKUST Alumni Association (HKUSTAA) Membership Card to prove your alumni identity.

DAO stands for Development and Alumni Office. In your days as a student, you would have sometimes been in contact with SAO (Student Affairs Office) and Office of the Dean of Students (DST) for assistance. DAO is the equivalent for alumni: you can reach out to the alumni team of DAO. If you have any enquiries on alumni matters, please contact us at alumni@ust.hk.

Presently, all alumni services and benefits are only offered to HKUST degree graduates whose graduation status is officially confirmed by the Academic Records & Registration Office (ARRO).
However, we welcome our once exchange-in students to join some of our overseas gatherings. Keep abreast of forthcoming events via our Facebook, Weibo and WeChat.
Matters relating to the issuing and replacement of degree diplomas /transcripts, etc. are handled by our Academic Registry (ARO). Please refer to the following contact details:

Fresh graduates are entitled to access JIJIS during the first year after graduation. You can use the same username and password for your ITSC student account as before.
