There are only a few simple steps to activate your Alum eCard on the Alumni App. Please click here for more details.
After logging in, please click "Library" or "Sports" on the homepage and you will know your subscription status. You can apply for/renew those services on the app and then pay online (if applicable). It is free for sports facilities card, whereas an annual fee of HK$50 and HK$100 will be charged for reader card and borrower card respectively.
After successful application, the card(s) will be displayed after clicking the “eCard” button.
After logging in, please click "Library" or "Sports" on the homepage, the details of your subscribed service(s), including expiry date, if applicable, will be shown accordingly. Alternatively, you can also check it out by clicking the "eCard" button at the bottom. Your subscription details will be displayed after clicking the relevant eCard(s)
Note: If you have already got the valid physical Reader's Card or Borrower's Card, this printed card will be invalid once you have successfully logged in on the app.
The following may be hindering the activation:
- Your input details do not match with those of our database. You need to input your:
Full name, including middle name, as it appears on your HKID card or passport
- Passport number as informed to Academic Registry Office (ARO) at the time you were admitted to HKUST (some countries allocate new numbers when passports are renewed)
- You are a non-degree graduate of a short-term executive course, or former exchange-in student.
If you still cannot activate the account, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org with English full name (as in your HKID/passport), date of birth, degree and year of graduation and student ID, if any, together with a copy of your HKID/passport. We will then follow up with you
Presently, the eCard is only offered to HKUST degree graduates whose graduation status is officially confirmed by the Academic Registry Office (ARO).
